Retirement celebration for Tammy Henriksen Monday, December 23, 2024
Tammy Henriksen, a long time employee of the judiciary in the North East Judicial District has retired and is on to new adventures. Tammy has worked in the court system in various roles for 32 years, 11 months and 14 days. From 1992 until retirement, she worked for county court, district court, juvenile court and most recently as a Court Recorder for Judge Whelan. A retirement celebration was held on Friday, December 20th, in the Walsh County Courthouse. Judge Whelan was the Master of Ceremony, with comments provided by Kelly Hutton (Unit One Court Administrator), Kristi Brintnell (Walsh County Commission Chair), the Honorable Lisa McEvers (North Dakota Supreme Court Justice) and the Honorable M. Richard Geiger (retired District Court Judge).
Because of her love for all things “The Beatles”, we hope she enjoys retirement and keeps busy enough that it does not seem like there are “Eight Days (in a ) Week” and she continues waking up saying “Good Day Sunshine” to all she meets. “Yesterday” was a great day and “Tomorrow Never Knows” what may come. Congratulations, Tammy!
