The Office of Administrative Hearings is seeking applicants to contract for providing part-time administrative law judge services for the remainder of the 2017-2019 biennium and all of the 2019-2021 biennium, primarily in western North Dakota.

Compensation: $140.00 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
• License to practice law in the state of North Dakota
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Analytical and decision-making ability

  Preference will be given to applicants with administrative hearings or trial experience, either as an attorney, judge, hearing officer, or administrative law judge.

  Contracts will be for conducting the administrative hearings of Workforce Safety and Insurance and possibly the hearings of other state or local agencies.
