Summary of Work
The position is primarily responsible for providing legal services to the North Dakota Industrial Commission, Department of Natural Resources, and conducting the Commisson's administrative hearings, and related proceedings. Specific duties may include actung as a hearing officer, analyzing evidence, conducting research, and drafting proposed decisions; providing general legal advice such as reviewing contracts, administrative rules, and proposed legislation; and handling litigation on behalf of the Commission for administrtive proceedings, district, and state Supreme Court. Additional opportunities within the Division may be available depending upon experience.
