55 new attorneys sworn in to N.D. bar
During ceremonies at the North Dakota State Capitol on Monday, Sept. 23, 55 new attorneys were sworn in to the North Dakota bar. -
New lawyers admitted to bar in Supreme Court ceremony
Nineteen new lawyers were admitted to the North Dakota bar during a ceremony on April 29 in the Supreme Court's Ralph Erickstad courtroom. -
February bar exam underway
The North Dakota Bar Exam began in Bismarck on Tuesday, Feb. 26, with 37 applicants taking the exam. This is down slightly from February 2018. Of the applicants sitting on Tuesday, 65 percent are graduates of the University of North Dakota School of Law. The exam ends Wednesday. -
Retirement celebration for law librarian Smith to be held June 4
A retirement open house to honor retiring State Law Librarian Ted Smith will be held from 2-4 p.m. on June 4 in the State Law Library. Smith has served the court system as librarian for more than 25 years.
