Proposed Amendments to Rule 4 and Appendix A of the North Dakota Rules for Continuing Legal Education

On August 24, 2000, the North Dakota Commission for Continuing Legal Education (Commission) filed a Petition to Amend Rule 4 and Appendix A of the North Dakota Rules for Continuing Legal Education. The Supreme Court initially considered the Petition and made minor amendments to the language proposed by the Commission. A copy of the proposed rule, as amended by the Court, and the Commission's Petition are attached.

ORDERED, that any person wishing to comment on the proposed amendments may do so in writing before October 10, 2000. Address written comments to Penny Miller, Clerk of the Supreme Court, 600 E. Boulevard Ave., Dept. 180, Bismarck, ND 58505-0530.

The Supreme Court of the State of North Dakota convened September 6, 2000, with the Honorable Gerald W. VandeWalle, Chief Justice, and the Honorable William A. Neumann, and the Honorable Dale V. Sandstrom, the Honorable Mary Muehlen Maring, and the Honorable Carol Ronning Kapsner, Justices, directing the Clerk of the Supreme Court to enter the above order.
