Proposed Amendments to the North Dakota Rules of Appellate Procedure, Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure, and North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Rules

The Joint Procedure Committee filed proposed amendments to North Dakota Rules of Appellate Procedure 10, 21, 40 and 43, North Dakota Rules of Civil Procedure 4, 6, 33 and 37, North Dakota Rules of Criminal Procedure 5, 10 and 43, and North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Rule 13. A synopsis is attached. A complete copy of the proposed amendments may be obtained from the Clerk of the Supreme Court.

ORDERED, that a hearing be held on the proposed amendments, Monday, September 29, 2003 at 2:45 p.m., in the Ralph J. Erickstad Courtroom of the Supreme Court, at the State Capitol in Bismarck, North Dakota. Time for personal appearances will be limited. Any person wishing to appear must notify Penny Miller, Clerk of the Supreme Court, at least three days prior to the scheduled hearing. Any person wishing to comment on the proposed amendments may do so in writing prior to the hearing.
