Proposed Amendments to the North Dakota Rules of
Civil Procedure and the Rules of Criminal Procedure 

On September 30, 2003, the Joint Procedure Committee filed a Petition for the adoption, amendment, or repeal of court rules, relating to N.D.R.Civ.P. 52, and N.D.R.Crim.P. 44. A copy of the synopsis is attached.

ORDERED, any person wishing to comment on the proposed amendments may do so in writing no later than Friday, November 7, 2003. Written comments may be e-mailed to Penny Miller, Clerk of the Supreme Court, at supclerkofcourt@ndcourts.gov, or addressed to 600 E. Boulevard Ave., Dept. 180, Bismarck, ND 58505-0530.

The Supreme Court of the State of North Dakota convened October 8, 2003, with the Honorable Gerald W. VandeWalle, Chief Justice, the Honorable William A. Neumann, the Honorable Dale V. Sandstrom, and the Honorable Carol Ronning Kapsner, Justices, directing the Clerk of the Supreme Court to enter the above order. The Honorable Mary Muehlen Maring, being unavoidably absent, did not participate in this decision.
