IN THE SUPREME COURT 
STATE OF NORTH DAKOTA 

The Joint Committee on Attorney Standards submitted a petition to amend North Dakota Rules of Professional Conduct 1.15. A Notice of Comment entered on July 18, 2012, and the proposed amendments, as further amended by the Court, were distribted for comment. Any comments due by August 20, 2012. The proposed amendments are available at Supreme Court No. 20120287. Individuals who do not have internet access may contact the Office of the Clerk of the Supreme Court to obtain a copy of the proposal. The Court considered the matter, and

ORDERED, the amendments to North Dakota Rules of Professional Conduct 1.15, as distributed for comment, are ADOPTED effective October 1, 2012.

The Supreme Court of the State of North Dakota convened this 22nd day of August, 2012 and the Honorable Gerald W. VandeWalle, Chief Justice, and the Honorable Dale V. Sandstrom, the Honorable Mary Muehlen Maring, the Honorable Carol Ronning Kapsner, and the Honorable Daniel J. Crothers, Justices, directing the Clerk of the Supreme Court to enter the above order.
