AMENDED ORDER OF ADOPTION

Proposed Amendments to North Dakota Rules of Court 8.1 and 8.10, North Dakota Rules of Criminal Procedure 1, and North Dakota Rules of Civil Procedure 66 and Adoption of North Dakota Rules of Court 5.3 and 5.2

On January 10, 2013, the Court considered amendments to North Dakota Rules of Court 8.1 and 8.10, North Dakota Rules of Criminal Procedure 1, and North Dakota Rules of Civil Procedure 66 and considered adoption of North Dakota Rules of Court 5.3 and 5.2, and

ORDERED, that the proposed amendments to North Dakota Rules of Court 8.1 and 8.10, North Dakota Rules of Criminal Procedure 1, and North Dakota Rules of Civil Procedure 66, are ADOPTED and North Dakota Rules of Court 5.3 and 5.2 are ADOPTED, effective March 1, 2013.

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that Chapter VIII of the North Dakota Rules of Court Provisional and Final Remedies and Special Proceeding is renamed as Chapter VIII. Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution and Chapter V of the North Dakota Rules of Court Depositions and Discovery is renamed as Chapter V. Provisional and Final Remedies and Special Proceedings," effective March 1, 2013.

The Supreme Court of the State of North Dakota convened this 30th of January, 2013, with the Honorable Dale V. Sandstrom, the Honorable Mary Muehlen Maring, the Honorable Carol Ronning Kapsner, and the Honorable Daniel J. Crothers, Justices, directing the Clerk of the Supreme Court to enter the above order. The Honorable Gerald W. VandeWalle, Chief Justice, being unavoidably absent, did not participate in the decision.
