ORDER OF ADOPTION
[¶ 1] On July 30, 2014, the Supreme Court considered proposed amendments to Unified Judicial System Policy 206 fees and expenses for preparation of transcripts. At the request of the Court, the State Court Administrator provided recommendations regarding compensation for these fees and expenses, and proposed amendments to Unified Judicial System Policy 206. The amendments proposed per page rates of $3.25 for original transcripts and $0.75 for paper copies, and an expedited transcript rate of $4.25 per page for originals and $0.75 per page for copies, with a definition of expedited as production and delivery within 14 days, excluding those transcripts that may be required to be expedited due to court rule or state statute.
[¶ 2] The Court set a comment period which expired September 1, 2014. The Court considered the comments received and the proposed amendments, and
[¶ 3] ORDERED, the proposed amendments to Unified Judicial System Policy 206 are ADOPTED effective October 1, 2014.
[¶ 4] The Supreme Court of the State of North Dakota convened on the 10th day of September, 2014, with the with the Honorable Gerald W. VandeWalle, Chief Justice, and the Honorable Dale V. Sandstrom, the Honorable Carol Ronning Kapsner, the Honorable Daniel J. Crothers and the Honorable Lisa Fair McEvers, Justices, directing the Clerk of the Supreme Court to enter the above order.
