Proposed Adoption of North Dakota Rules of Court 8.14
[¶ 1] On March 23, 2015, the Joint Procedure Committee submitted a petition to adopt North Dakota Rules of Court 8.14 regarding termination of a child support order. The proposal was initially reviewed by the Court and non-substantive amendments were made. The Court posted the proposed rule for comments, and after receiving comments, referred the rule back to the Joint Procedure Committee for further review. On October 15, 2015, the Joint Procedure Committee filed its recommendation.
[¶ 2] The proposed rule is available athttp://www.ndcourts.gov/Court/Notices/Notices.htm. The Court considered the matter, and
[¶ 2] ORDERED, that North Dakota Rules of Court 8.14 is ADOPTED, effective January 1, 2016.
[¶ 3] The Supreme Court of the State of North Dakota convened the 6th day of November, 2015, with the Honorable Gerald W. VandeWalle, Chief Justice, and the Honorable Dale V. Sandstrom, the Honorable Carol Ronning Kapsner, the Honorable Daniel J. Crothers, and the Honorable Lisa Fair McEvers, Justices, directing the Chief Deputy Clerk of the Supreme Court to enter the above order.
