Proposed Amendments to North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Rule 48 Regarding the North Dakota Judicial Improvement Program
[¶ 1] Following referral by this Court, the Judiciary Standards Committee reviewed a report and recommendations prepared by the Bureau of Governmental Affairs regarding possible improvements to the Judicial Improvement Program. In a letter dated December 15, 2015, the Committee forwarded its recommendations and proposed amendments to North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Rule 48 to the Chief Justice. Upon review by the Court, the letter and recommendations were filed February 24, 2016, and distributed to judicial officers for comment. The Court considered the matter, and
[¶ 2] ORDERED, that proposed amendments to North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Rules 48 are ADOPTED, effective June 1, 2016.
[¶ 3] The Supreme Court of the State of North Dakota convened the 4th day of May, 2016, with the Honorable Gerald W. VandeWalle, Chief Justice, and the Honorable Dale V. Sandstrom, the Honorable Carol Ronning Kapsner, the Honorable Daniel J. Crothers, and the Honorable Lisa Fair McEvers, Justices, directing the Clerk of the Supreme Court to enter the above order.
