Proposed Amendments to North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Rule 35 Regarding the Juvenile Policy Board and Rule 17 of the North Dakota Rules of Juvenile Procedure Regarding Juvenile Court Lay Guardian Ad Litem

[¶1] On October 20, 2017, the Juvenile Policy Board filed a petitionto amend North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Rule 35 regarding the Juvenile Policy Board and North Dakota Rule of Juvenile Procedure 17 regarding juvenile court lay guardians ad litem. The proposal is available at http://www.ndcourts.gov/Court/Notices/Notices.htm. Individuals who do not have internet access may contact the Office of the Clerk of the Supreme Court to obtain a copy of the proposal. The Court considered the matter, and

[¶2] ORDERED, that the the amendments to North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Rule 35 and North Dakota Rules of Juvenile Procedure 17 are ADOPTED effective January 1, 2018.

[¶3] The Supreme Court of the State of North Dakota convened this 22nd day of November, 2017, with the Honorable Gerald W. VandeWalle, Chief Justice, the Honorable Daniel J. Crothers, the Honorable Lisa Fair McEvers, the Honorable Jerod E. Tufte and the Honorable Jon J. Jensen, Justices, directing the Clerk of the Supreme Court to enter the above order.
