ORDER OF ADOPTION

Amendments to North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Rule 2 Relating to Election and Duties of Presiding Judges; North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Rule 7 Relating to Designation of Judgeships and Chambers With Assignments; and Repeal of North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Order 2 Relating to Identification of Presiding Judges

[¶1] The Court considered amendments to North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Rule 2 relating to election and duties of presiding judges and North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Rule 7 relating to designation of judgeships and chambers with assignments and considered repeal of North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Order 2 relating to identification of presiding judges. The amendments are available at Amend. to N.D. Sup. Ct. Admin. R. 2 & 7 and re N.D. Sup. Ct. Admin. O. 2. Individuals who do not have internet access may contact the Office of the Clerk of the Supreme Court to obtain a copy of the proposal. The Court considered the matter, and

[¶2] IT IS ORDERED, that the amendments to North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Rule 2 and North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Rule 7 are ADOPTED, effective February 1, 2018.

[¶2] IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that and North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Order 2 is REPEALED, effective February 1, 2018.

[¶3] The Supreme Court of the State of North Dakota convened the 24th day of January, 2018, with the Honorable Gerald W. VandeWalle, Chief Justice, and the Honorable Daniel J. Crothers, the Honorable Lisa Fair McEvers, the Honorable Jerod E. Tufte, and the Honorable Jon J. Jensen, Justices, directing the Clerk of the Supreme Court to enter the above order.
