Amendments to Judicial Conduct Commission Rules

On October 31, 1996, the Judiciary Standards Committee filed its Reports Concerning Judicial Discipline Process and Judicial Performance Evaluation with recommended amendments to the Judicial Conduct Commission Rules. Notice of Hearing on the proposed amendments was mailed by the Clerk of the Supreme Court on November 7, 1996, under Rule 7, NDRPR, and this matter was heard by the Court on December 16, 1996. The Court considered the matter, and

ORDERED, that the proposed amendments to the Judicial Conduct Commission Rules, as further amended by the Court, be ADOPTEDcontingent on the passage of Senate Bill 2123, and effective August 1, 1997.
