Amendments to Rule 3, North Dakota Rules for Continuing Legal Education

On September 16, 1998, the North Dakota Commission for Continuing Legal Education petitioned the Court to amend Rule 3, North Dakota Rules for Continuing Legal Education, governing the fee charged to attorneys at the time the Report of Compliance is filed. The Court considered the matter,

ORDERED, that the amendments to Rule 3, North Dakota Rules for Continuing Legal Education, are ADOPTED, effective November 1, 1998, subject to a 30-day comment period. Comments should be addressed to Penny Miller, Clerk, North Dakota Supreme Court, 600 E. Boulevard Ave., Dept. 180, Bismarck, ND 58505-0035, no later than October 27, 1998. The amendments are attached.

The Supreme Court of the State of North Dakota convened at 9 a.m. this 23rd day of September, 1998, with the Honorable Gerald W. VandeWalle, Chief Justice, and the Honorable Herbert L. Meschke, the Honorable William A. Neumann, the Honorable Dale V. Sandstrom, the Honorable Mary Muehlen Maring, Justices, directing the Clerk of the Supreme Court to enter the above order.
