Amendments to Rule 2.1(B), North Dakota Rules for Lawyer Discipline
On October 7, 1998, the Supreme Court adopted, on an emergency basis, amendments to Rule 2.1(B), North Dakota Rules for Lawyer Discipline, relating to nominations for reappointment to the Disciplinary Board. The amendments were adopted effective November 15, 1998, subject to a 30-day comment period. Notice of the amendments was provided under section 7, North Dakota Rule on Procedural Rules. Written comments were due no later than November 9, 1998; no comments to the amendments were received. The Court considered the matter,
ORDERED, that the amendments to Rule 2.1(B), North Dakota Rules for Lawyer, are adopted on a final basis, effective November 15, 1998. The amended rule is attached.
