Proposed Amendments to the North Dakota Rules of Civil Procedure, Rules of Criminal Procedure, Rules of Evidence, Rules of Appellate Procedure, Rules of Court, Supreme Court Administrative Rules and the Rule on Local Court Procedural Rules

The Joint Procedure Committee filed proposed amendments to Rules 16, 30, 58, and 77 of the North Dakota Rules of Civil Procedure, Rules 31 and 33 of the North Dakota Rules of Criminal Procedure, Rules 407, 603, 803, 804, and 807 of the North Dakota Rules of Evidence, Rule 4 of the North Dakota Rules of Appellate Procedure, Rules 3.3, 6.11, 11.1, 11.2, and Appendix B of the North Dakota Rules of Court, Rule 13 of the North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Rules, and Section 10 of the North Dakota Rule on Local Court Procedural Rules. A synopsis is attached. A complete copy of the proposed Amendments may be obtained from the Clerk of the Supreme Court.

ORDERED, that a hearing be held on the proposed amendments, Tuesday, October 26, 1999, at 2:45 p.m., in the Courtroom of the Supreme Court, at the State Capitol in Bismarck, North Dakota. Time for personal appearances will be limited. Any person wishing to comment on the proposed amendments may do so in writing prior to the hearing.
