Amendments to North Dakota Administrative Rule 36

On September 29, 2000, the North Dakota Judicial Conference filed a Petition for Amendment of North Dakota Administrative Rule 36 with proposed amendments to Administrative Rule 36, North Dakota Rules on Continuing Judicial Education, and a copy of Proposed Amendments to Article V (C), Bylaws of the North Dakota Judicial Conference. On October 11, 2000, the amendments were approved, effective January 1, 2001, subject to the adoption of the amendment to the Bylaws of the Judicial Conference. By letter dated December 14, 2000, Keithe E. Nelson, Executive Secretary of the Judicial Conference, notified the Clerk of the Supreme Court that the amendments to the Bylaws of the Judicial Conference were defeated.

ORDERED, the October 11, 2000 Order adopting amendments to Administrative Rule 36, subject to the adoption of the amendments to the Bylaws of the Judicial Conference is withdrawn.

FURTHER ORDERED, the Petition for Amendment of North Dakota Administrative Rule 36 is DENIED.
