Elected South Central Judicial District Judge in 1994, 1996, 2002, 2008 and 2014. Served as assistant Burleigh County State's Attorney and Assistant Attorney General. Married: husband, Supreme Court Justice Dale Sandstrom. Three children. Retired as District Judge March 16, 2020.
