Highlight
A mental disorder need not be listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to meet the statutory requirement the individual has a congenital or acquired condition that is manifested by a sexual disorder, a personality disorder, or other mental disorder or dysfunction.
Expert testimony in sexually dangerous individual proceedings will not be reweighed on appeal, and a choice between two permissible views of the weight of the evidence is not clearly erroneous.
The phrase "likely to engage in further acts of sexually predatory conduct" references the individual's propensity to pose a threat to others in the future.
