Summary

T.E. appeals from district court orders requiring his involuntary hospitalization and treatment with medication.

A petition for involuntary commitment was filed in the district court. After a hearing, the court ordered T.E. to undergo treatment at the State Hospital for up to 90 days. The court also ordered involuntary treatment with prescribed medication.

On appeal, T.E. argues the district court erred by finding he is mentally ill and is a person requiring treatment and the court erred by granting the request for forced medication.
