Summary

Alexis Hanson appeals from the district court’s judgment after a jury found her guilty of child abuse and neglect.

The State alleged Hanson allowed her child to be abused and neglected. The district court sentenced Hanson to the statutory minimum of one year of imprisonment.

On appeal, Hanson argues the evidence was insufficient to prove she abused or neglected her child. Hanson also argues the district court erred when it sentenced her to one-year of incarceration.
