Practiced in Minot 1964-79. Appointed District Judge, Northwest Judicial District, by Governor Arthur A. Link in 1979. Elected in 1980, 1986, 1992. Presiding Judge 1980-91. Retired at end of 1998. Married: Wife, Mary Ellen. Two children.
