8th Circuit decides N.D. case Tuesday, June 14, 2022

The United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit has issued an opinion in a North Dakota case.

In United States v. Miller, the court held that the defendant's appeal of his sentence was barred by the appeal waiver in his guilty plea, and the appeal is dismissed; the record shows the plea agreement and waiver were knowing and voluntary.
