U.S. District Court to host naturalization ceremony in Fargo Tuesday, August 27, 2019

The United States District Court for the District of North Dakota announces that a ceremony for the naturalization of new citizens will be held in Fargo
on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at 11:00 a.m.

The ceremony will be held at the Sanctuary Events Center, located at 670 4th Avenue North, Fargo, ND. The ceremony is open to the public.

Laetitia Mizero Hellerud will be featured as a speaker for the event. Ms. Mizero Hellerud came to the U.S. as a refugee from Burundi. She is active in the community, and specializes in intercultural competence development.

Judicial law clerk Morgan Brungard will provide music. U.S. Magistrate Judge Alice R. Senechal will preside over the ceremony where an estimated 150 new citizens from 45 countries will take the oath of allegiance.
