U.S. Supreme Court moves to limit paper filings Wednesday, April 15, 2020

The U.S. Supreme Court joined the chorus of federal courts across the country trying to reduce paper filings amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The court on Wednesday said certain case initiation filings, like those asking for review, need only a single paper copy, instead of the typical 40.

The court also said the filing could be on loose paper, rather than in booklet format.
