District court judge swears in son as an attorney Monday, September 28, 2020

CAVALIER —A district court judge in Cavalier County performed a swearing-in ceremony for her son Friday, Sept. 25.

Garret Fontaine graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law and passed the bar earlier this month.

His mom, Laurie Fontaine, has been a judge for 22 years.
