Three members elected to Administrative Council Wednesday, August 16, 2023

One new and two current members-at-large have been elected to serve on the Court’s Administrative Council.  The Adminstrative Council serves as an advisory board to the Chief Justice, who sits as its chair. The membership is composed of the presiding judge for each judicial district, a member-at-large for each administrative unit, one supreme court justice appointed by the Chief Justice, and one attorney appointed by the State Bar Association of North Dakota. Members-at-large are elected by a majority vote of all district court judges.

Judge Cynthia M. Feland is newly-elected to serve on the Amdinistrative Council, replacing Judge James S. Hill as the member-at-large for Unit 3. Re-elected as members-at-large were Judge Anthony S. Benson, for Unit 1, and Judge Stacy J. Louser, for Unit 4.  The term for each runs from August 1, 2023 to July 31, 2026.
