Summary of Work

Assist attorneys in the Civil Litigation, Natural Resources, and Indian Affairs Division.  The duties of the position include but are not limited to the following:

Identify and analyze case issues; help evaluate the best method for proceeding on cases; participate in the development of case strategy and procedures.

Research, analyze, and summarize federal and state statutory and case laws, administrative rules, regulations, administrative and judicial decisions, and other sources.

Utilize computerized research including Westlaw.

Compose, prepare, and ensure accuracy of legal documents.

Analyze documents prepared by opposing parties.

Locate, interview, assure availability, and prepare clients and witnesses for trials, hearings, or depositions.

Assist with collections.
