Justice Gerald VandeWalle honored by the UND Alumni Association Thursday, February 6, 2020

Justice Gerald VandeWalle was the center of North Dakota law for more than 60 years.

Tuesday night, he was honored by the University of North Dakota and the UND Alumni Association & Foundation as the longest serving chief justice in the U.S.

VandeWalle earned three degrees from UND including a bachelor's degree in 1955, a juris doctor degree in 1958 and an honorary degree in 2015.
