Supreme Court welcomes new law clerks Tuesday, August 1, 2023

The North Dakota Supreme Court is pleased to announce the following individuals who began their one-year clerkship with the North Dakota Supreme Court on August 1, 2023. 

          Orrin Burch of Mandan, North Dakota, received a B.A. in History and Philosophy from the University Mary. Mr. Burch received his J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in December 2022. He is the son of Holly Burch and the late James Burch of Mandan, North Dakota.  

          Haley Finch of Winnipeg, Canada, received a B.A. in Criminology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Manitoba. Ms. Finch received her J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in May 2023. She is the daughter of Bary and Leslie Finch of Winnipeg, Canada. 

          Dixie Holland of Grand Forks, North Dakota, received a C.J.B.S. in Criminal Justice and a B.A. in International Studies from the University of North Dakota. Ms. Holland received her J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in May 2023. She is the daughter of Ryan and Tara Holland of Grand Forks, North Dakota. 

          Casey Orvedal of Fargo, North Dakota, received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Economics, with a minor in Political Science from the University of North Dakota. Mr. Orvedal received his J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in May 2023. He is the son of Cory and Loretta Orvedal of Fargo, North Dakota.

          Charles Steinberger of Kenmare, North Dakota, received a B.S. in Agriculture Business with minors in Accounting and Economics from North Dakota State University. Mr. Steinberger received his J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in December 2022. He is the son of John and Pam Steinberger of Kenmare, North Dakota.
