On May 22, 2012, the State Board of Law Examiners forwarded proposed amendments to the North Dakota Admission to Practice Rules. The proposed amendments were forwarded to the Joint Committee on Attorney Standards for review and recommendation. The Joint Committee on Attorney Standards reviewed the proposal, made further amendments, and returned them on January 21, 2013, with the State Bar Associations Board of Governors support, for submission to the Supreme Court. The proposed amendments, as further amended by the Court, are available at http://www.ndcourts.gov/Court/Notices/Notices.htm. Individuals who do not have internet access may contact the Office of the Clerk of the Supreme Court to obtain a copy of the proposal. The Court considered the matter, and

ORDERED, any person wishing to comment on the proposed amendments may do so in writing before Monday, February 25, 2013. Written comments may be e-mailed to Penny Miller, Clerk of the Supreme Court, at supclerkofcourt@ndcourts.gov, or addressed to 600 E. Boulevard Ave., Bismarck, ND 58505-0530.

The Supreme Court of the State of North Dakota convened this 24th day of January, 2013, with the Honorable Gerald W. VandeWalle, Chief Justice, and the Honorable Dale V. Sandstrom, and the Honorable Mary Muehlen Maring, Justices, directing the Clerk of the Supreme Court to enter the above order. The Honorable Carol Ronning Kapsner and the Honorable Daniel J. Crothers, Justices, were unavoidably absent.
