Supreme Court to dedicate conference room to Justice Levine
On Monday, Nov. 21, the Supreme Court will name a conference room in honor of Justice Beryl J. Levine, the first woman to serve on the Court. The ceremony will be held in the Ralph J. Erickstad Courtroom beginning at 9 a.m. and is open to the public. -

Courthouses closed for Veterans' Day
The Supreme Court and county courthouses across the state will be closed Friday, Nov. 11, for Veterans' Day. -
County courthouses closed Nov. 10 due to weather
The courthouses in Billings, Dunn, Golden Valley, Grand Forks, Kidder, Logan, Sargent, Sioux, Steele, and Wells counties will be closed Thursday, Nov. 10, due to inclement weather. Eddy, Nelson, Ramsey, and Rolette counties are closing at noon, Barnes County is closing at 1 p.m., Dickey and McKenzie counties are closing at 2 p.m., Griggs County is closing at 2:30 p.m. and Stutsman and Walsh counties are closing at 3 p.m. -
Mark G. Schneider 1948-2022
Longtime Fargo attorney Mark G. Schneider died Nov. 8. A UND School of Law graduate, he was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1974. An Irish wake will be held Friday, Nov. 18, in Fargo. -
