The Judicial Nominating Committee has forwarded seven names to Gov. Doug Burgum for the two new East Central Judicial District judgeships. They are Alisha J. Ankers, Cherie L. Clark, Scott O. Diamond, Daniel Gast, Stephanie R. Hayden, Jenny M. Samarzja, and Ryan J. Younggren.

Juror pay to increase

North Dakota jurors will be getting a raise starting July 1, 2023. The legislature, acting at the request of the Supreme Court, has doubled the daily rate of juror pay.

Governor appoints Neff to NWJD judgeship

Gov. Doug Burgum has appointed Charles “Chas” Neff Jr. to a judgeship in the Northwest Judicial District.
