Justice Beryl Levine 1935-2022
Retired Supreme Court Justice Beryl Levine died June 4. A graduate of the UND School of Law, she was the first female Justice on the North Dakota Supreme Court. She was appointed to the Supreme Court in 1985 and retired in 1996. -

Eddie G. Kopperud 1931-2022
Longtime Grafton attorney Eddie G. Kopperud died April 26. A graduate of the UND School of Law, he was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1971. A memorial service will be held May 3 in Denver, Colo. -
Janis R. DeRemer 1948-2022
Buxton attorney Janis R. DeRemer died April 21. A graduate of the UND School of Law, she was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1991. -
