Kenneth F. Johannson 1936-2021

Longtime Crookston attorney Kenneth F. Johannson died Nov. 14. He was a UND School of Law graduate and was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1962. Funeral services will be held Dec. 10 in Crookston.

Courthouses to close for Thanksgiving holiday

Court facilities across the state will be closed Thursday, Nov. 25, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Most county courthouses will also be closed Friday, Nov. 26. The Supreme Court and courthouses in Barnes, Burleigh, Cass and Morton counties will be open Nov. 26.

National Adoption Day 2021 – Celebrating a family for every child

National Adoption Day was celebrated at the Grand Forks County courthouse Saturday, Nov. 20. Judge Lolita Hartl-Romanick finalized ten adoptions for seven families.
