Wayne Stenehjem 1953-2022

North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem died Jan. 28. A UND School of Law graduate, he was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1977. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, at the Bismarck Event Center Exhibit Hall.

Former County Judge F. Gene Gruber died Dec. 26. A UND School of Law graduate, he was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1971. A celebration of life will be held Jan. 11 in Horseshoe Bay, Texas.

Longtime Rolette County Clerk of Court Susan H. Mickelson died Oct. 28. She began work in the clerk's office in 1989 and became Clerk of Court in 1994. She retired in 2014. A memorial service will be held in Rolla on Friday, Nov. 5.

Longtime Minot attorney Lynn Aas died Oct. 28 at the age of 100. He was a UND School of Law graduate and was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1949. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, Nov. 4, in Minot.
