North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem died Jan. 28. A UND School of Law graduate, he was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1977. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, at the Bismarck Event Center Exhibit Hall.

F. Gene Gruber 1944-2021

Former County Judge F. Gene Gruber died Dec. 26. A UND School of Law graduate, he was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1971. A celebration of life will be held Jan. 11 in Horseshoe Bay, Texas.

Dennis Dockter 1955-2021

Longtime Supreme Court Staff Attorney Dennis Dockter died Dec. 18. A UND School of Law graduate, he was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1982. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.

Roderick B. McLarnan 1926-2021

Longtime Moorhead attorney Roderick B. McLarnan died Dec. 15. A graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, he was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1983. Services are delayed until spring due to the covid pandemic.

Minot attorney Robert L. Hale died Nov. 18. A Gonzaga University School of Law graduate, he was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1998.

Lawrence Dopson 1949-2021

Longtime Bismarck attorney Lawrence Dopson died Nov. 29. A Northwestern University law graduate, he was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1975. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7 at Parkway Funeral Service in Bismarck.
